Mafia is a 2002 action-adventure video game developed by Illusion Softworks and published by Gathering of Developers, released for Microsoft Windows in August 2002, for PlayStation 2 in January 2004, and for Xbox in March 2004. The game takes places within the fictional American city of Lost Heaven, during the prohibition years of the 1930s. The city is divided into three boroughs: West Side, Central Island and East Side.
