Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action role-playing game set in the wizarding world of Harry Potter. The game is developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, released for Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 10 February 2023. The game is set in the 1800s, long before the events of the Harry Potter books and movies, and allow players to create their own character and attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The game's map features a number of locations from the Harry Potter universe, including Hogwarts castle and its surrounding grounds, Hogsmeade village, and the Forbidden Forest. Players are able to explore these locations and interact with the various characters and creatures that inhabit them. In addition to exploring the game's world, players are also be able to attend classes and learn magic spells and potions. The game offers a high degree of player choice and freedom, allowing players to shape their own experience and make decisions that will affect the outcome of the game. The map size is about 7.65 square kilometres.
